I wanted to get in touch and introduce Dawn Finch whose first young adult novel (11+) will be published in paperback in September, due to its eBook success.
For many years, Finch’s novel Brotherhood of Shades was an ‘almost novel’. Publishers and agents showed a great deal of interest but Finch experienced many blows in her quest for a book deal. After filing Brotherhood of Shades for some time, Finch eventually plucked up the courage to have another go and decided to upload her novel onto the authonomy writers’ community site in hope of getting a bit of moral support. What Finch didn’t realise is that Scott Pack had begun to play a curatorial role on the website in the hope of finding new talent and finally Finch’s dreams of being a published author are coming to fruition.
I would be very interested to know your opinions on the novel and I would be delighted to discuss Brotherhood of Shades in more detail with you should it be of interest. We have proof copies available, and the author is also available for interview. She is also available to provide comment on any back to school features and how to prepare children for their first day of school, should you be planning anything around those themes.
