With timelapse cameras, specialists recorded salt water being excluded from the sea ice and sinking.
The temperature of this sinking brine, which was well below 0C, caused the water to freeze in an icy sheath around it.
Where the so-called "brinicle" met the sea bed, a web of ice formed that froze everything it touched, including sea urchins and starfish.
The unusual phenomenon was filmed for the first time by cameramen Hugh Miller and Doug Anderson for the BBC One series Frozen Planet.

Skelton, whose name is by no means universally known, was, nevertheless, an important member of the Expedition and many books about Discovery include quotations from his journals.
Since becoming familiar with the journals, I have found out that not all these passages are faithfully reproduced. Whereas innocent mistakes can be made in interpreting hand-written documents, the distortion in some instances is of an order which suggests deliberate misrepresentation. Dr Wilson was Scott's chief scientific officer on the second expedition, facing down freezing conditions and snow blindness to depict the continent and its wildlife, and died alongside him during their return from the South Pole in 1912.

I’m a vampire and no we don’t all own castles and are mega rich some of us are poor and have to hunt our own lunch, and I want to look good when I go out for a bite so I want leather, after long black cloaks which are useless for someone my height as I always trip over them, but leather, black leather is so nice to wear and with the right cleaning products blood stains are so easily cleaned away.
I am saving up for some expensive tight soft snug fitting leather pants and if you rich readers would spend some money and buy my book I will be able to afford them !......... …hay I may even post a photo of me wearing them ……………..
Nice snug fitting like a second skin, forget the crap about leather panties they are like so not sexy and smell when you get hot, look think about it you have to wear cotton undies under leather undies …….er………didn't you guys know that? ………… ye gods you rearly should have listened to the biology teacher at school……… where as if you wear very thin cotton panties under tight leather pants they won’t show and you will not only look good but feel good as well.
It has to be a good real leather as the man-made fibre fake stuff makes you sweat and get sticky but not in a nice way ……………… I mean it ……..a photo of me in them if you buy lots of books so that I get some money …………….

Edward Wilson is the guy that died with Captain Scott in Antarctica 100 years, but apart from famous explorer he was an incredible artist and his great nephews have put together two books on all his paintings and drawings so first take a look at the book trailers then take a look at the links to read more about him.
My best-e friend on FB sometime posts pics of naked girls in the snow thinking that they look good, cool and sexy and how nice it would be in the snow……er…………….she lives in a hot country and so pics of snow is all cute and nice …..and this is not at all what I see in them …………. Snow is cold and damp and gives you a chill and as to sitting butt naked in snow the only body sensation you will get is frostbite and an urgent need to pee……………and hoping you don’t get icicles …………. .. well it is cold !!!

Since the author of this unusual and humorous book is herself unusual and a bit off the charts, I am doing something a little different with this review. Of course, I mean that in the most loving way. You don't doubt me, do you, Mistress Amelia? I think it is necessary to give a brief account of how our Amy sees herself and her writing. This is borrowed from Amy's blog with some minor editing on my part. Clears throat!

This is not your typical vampire story where vampires are jumping in bed with humans or are entangled with werewolves for one reason or another. This is the story of a teenage vampire who is just trying to survive in her day to day existence. It is humorous and will make you laugh out loud when Amy is just being her own unique self. She has a way with words that is like no other. This book gives us insight as to how how Amy meets her boyfriend Max and becomes best friends with his sister Ice, who were introduced in her first book. Amy is so outrageous that you can't help fall in love with her. I'm sure she would have something to say about that... No matter! The book is a delight and if you are into the strange and unusual, you must get your copy and see for yourself. You better get a copy unless you want to hear from the author. She has her own version of bending you to her will. In all seriousness, get your copy, it is a great book.

I’m still looking for a guy he has to be Rich, 6 ft 2 tall, blond with a six pack body and hung like a horse is not asking too much is it ?See I only have simple needs ………ho well …..Perhaps one day ……sigh………. I always have lots of questions but it is often hard to find answers to them, like when I ask things about Guys and I get some very odd looks and answers …………. Well I would not have asked if I knew now would I? ………I innocently ask one little question on Facebook and then I go red from the replies I get, I did tell you that guys send me photos of their dicks didn’t I, and I so wish they wouldn’t, a bit of mystery around that part of the male body is fine by me and stops me asking them if they have seen a doctor about it.

I have questions like do Guys look at other Guys naked bodies? they are always getting naked together and you hear about what they get up to in the showers and locker rooms, I expect they don’t mind being naked together as most of a guys body is on display like on the beach and only a small part of their body they keep covered…………. And in some cases a very disappointingly small part it is too………. Movies always show the games of flicking bare butts with towels and play fights in the showers over the soap……is it true?
What do they talk about when they are showering together? Girls and sport I expect, what about other stuff guys do …er….you know …
……. Do they all walk about the changing rooms with a towel hanging over their dicks to show its load bearing ability by pretending to be a piece of bathroom furniture, ………. huh ………….now if they had a 2lb box of chocs hanging off it ……well that would be far more interesting !

My publisher often give me blog ideas and this one came up when he was telling me about steam rooms (Turkish baths) and that the big football players wear a see though plastic top and pants with elastic cuffs ………..the reason being they can sweat far more due to the plastic……I asked what they looked like and my publisher said it had put him off ever eating boiled chicken again.
He that is my publisher is mad…………… well he must be as he thinks I am normal ………..hahahahaha …like he reads my books and still thinks I am normal! now I worry what his other authors must be like if he thinks I’m normal!
I said he has lots of good ideas why not do his own blog …………. But he says he could not get away with what I say and he has a wife and goldfish to think of………

And a large fish tank ……….with flesh eating fish ……………….if you wash the BBQ sauce of a spare rib they love it, yes I have tried, I dropped it in from a height as I have seen too many horror films to get fingers too close to them……..he feeds them on scraps from the table and it is so much fun watching them fight over a chicken leg.
I do wonder about what his other authors make of his Fung Shui office ……………. Iexpect if they take too long signing a contract he would start finding the fish…………
