At some point we may have to
explain the full meaning of the use of the word vampire along with Undead. But
in the meantime let us just have a moan at word use.
Undead is not the same as
dead or alive, the best way to think about it is as being fixed just at the point
of death, so the undead are not immortal just outside the normal rules of time.
The traditional vampire can
then have problems which a living person would not … such as reflections,
sunlight, holy symbols, etc etc etc
Now Living vampires should
not condemn the belief of the traditional undead vampire due to the USE of the
word BELIEF …
Traditional vampires are believed in using the same reality of belief as Christians, Muslims or anyone having something such as a religion that relies upon faith and belief over provable reality.
I would not say my use of the written word was anything special as I have to use both proof readers and editors to get my books into a readable state, so if I can pick up things to moan about they must be bad for me to even notice
But in saying that I have noticed the problems with word meanings and the failure to use them correctly recently, last night I watched a movie on Egypt and heard them say to fire arrows! And they did not! No fire was used at all, to shoot an arrow may be ok but a better way would be to say loose it as you would let loose arrows at the enemy.
Think about it with dogs you let loose or better still let slip … : "Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war".
And see in the time frame of the Egypt movie not sure they should even have had the wheel.

Americans like to use the word Unconscious when they mean Subconscious, even the commentators on the US news, why? Do they have different dictionaries than the rest of the world?
The subconscious is that part of consciousness that is not currently in focal awareness.
The unconscious mind consists of the processes in the mind that occur automatically and are not available to introspection, and include thought processes, memory, affect, and motivation.
Sigh ……And the number of times people say literally instead of figuratively.
Come on just look it up
the adverb literally has meant "really" or "actually" or "in the strict sense of the word." Most style guides continue to advise us not to confuse literally with figuratively, which means "in an analogous or metrological sense,"
