The Darkness and the Night by Lisa Lane review Amy Mah Vampire

The Darkness and the Night by

Just had a nice book review take a look:

And talking of book reviews I have just finished “The Darkness of the Night” trilogy by
Lisa Lane

And wow are they good ……………..  They are called erotic novels and I certainty added a few extra facts to my education ……..(blush)  …………. But then I am a lot more innocent than how I come over on my blogs ………… shut up I am!

And no I am not going to tell you the bits took me by surprise you will have to read them yourselves!

Well these are the very fist erotic novels I have ever read, and page 1 chapter 1 book 1 ….well if you can get past this page without having to fan down your reddening face you will love all of it ……

………. I am no expert but I would say this is sexy chick lit and is fine for late teens er late, late teens ok ok early 20s onward, and the reason people may guess that it is female sexy erotic is by the title of the second book: Cosmic Orgasm ……….. male porn would have an entirely different type of title more about boobs.

How can I explain myself? …. It is erotic chick lit in that it is not porn …… and it has lots of emotions in the plots …………. Heck this is hard to explain ……….it is the difference between male and female sexual fantasy ok ………….. you try and explain that and you have your own answer……… all I can say is that it pushed my buttons on being a good read.

So on with the story while I cool down ……………. It is good ………… very good the plot evolves nicely between the 3 books starting with the main character becoming a vampire in book 1 through to a climax of the plot at the end of book 3.

The Darkness and the Night Trilogy.wmv

First sexy Billy turns her into a vampire, and when Karen becomes his lover, she finds that once they have exchanged blood, they share a bond more powerful than anything Karen has ever experienced. That's the good news. But Billy's left her to make it on her own, and she's on the run from her crazy father, who imagines himself a vampire hunter, as well as demon hunters and a commune of orgy-loving Amish-like vampires, who drink blood in their coffee. In this breathless debut novel,
Lisa Lane
takes you on a thrilling ride through vampire enclaves, moral dilemmas, and forbidden sexual encounters.

On the run from her once sexy, now sadistic vampire lover, recently turner blood-sucker Karen is also being chased by the orgy-loving vampire bounty-hunters. A brief respite with a psychic leads her to a cosmic orgasm, and the arms of a new human lover who will make her remember the passion she thought was undead too.

Karen learns quickly that being both a mother and a vampire is no easy task, especially since her children, fraternal twins Anna and Andy, are not typical kids. Anna, although seemingly human, has the unique ability to not only travel the Astral, but also manipulate objects and people between planes. Andy also appears to be a normal human boy, but appearances prove disastrously deceiving.

With the help of her blood donor and lover, Jason, Karen does her best to offer the twins a "normal" suburban life. Despite them, Anna and Andy come into their own, exploring their family's past . . . and the very different beings they are both slowly becoming. In the process, the author takes us on a wild ride that breaks beyond the boundaries of time and reality, sexual exploration, love and sacrifice . . . and back to the vampire commune
